The touring tyre receives top grades on wet and dry roads

The new Bridgestone Turanza T005 touring summer tyre is rated test winner in ADAC’s summer tyre test 2019. With top grades on wet and dry roads the tyre gains the number one ranking in the dimension 185/65/R15 ahead of all competitors tested. Also tyre brand Firestone achieves the best grade on dry roads for its Roadhawk and comes off well as 5th in the ranking.
With an overall grade of 2.0, the Turanza T005 is marked as a highly balanced summer tyre with top grades on wet and dry roads by ADAC. In dry and wet performance, the Turanza T005 occupies the first position. Moreover, the tyre acquires good ratings in the categories wear and fuel consumption and therefore comes out as test winner.[1]

While developing the premium touring tyre Turanza T005, Bridgestone, the world’s largest tyre and rubber company, questioned thousands of end-consumers throughout Europe about their requirements concerning a touring tyre, as well as about the challenges they face daily on the road. The results were clear; consumers expect a tyre that combines driving enjoyment and a feeling of security and comfort. They want to have optimal control in everyday life, as well as in challenging situations, especially on wet surfaces. Besides, the tyre should provide a low fuel consumption and the best tyre label scores, as well as a high mileage. Bridgestone’s Turanza T005 touring tyre meets all these requirements. It enables a high degree of control, also under adverse conditions on wet roads, similarly on the highway or while unexpectedly decelerating in the city.
The Turanza T005 is available in nearly all European touring tyre dimensions for motorcars and SUVs with more than 170 sizes from 14’’ to 21’’.
